Verse Text
skānde ca—
kṛṣṇottīrṇaṁ tu nirmālyaṁ yasyāṅgaṁ spṛśate mune |
sarva-rogais tathā pāpair mukto bhavati nārada ||126||
Translation
It is also said in the Skanda Purāṇa: O sage Nārada, whoever touches the garlands offered to Kṛṣṇa with his body becomes freed from all diseases and all sins.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
Similarly, in the Skanda Purāṇa Lord Brahmā tells Nārada, “My dear Nārada, anyone who puts on his neck the flower garland which was formerly used by Kṛṣṇa becomes relieved from all disease and reactions to sinful activities, and gradually he is liberated from the contamination of matter.”
