Next, singing (verse 85), illustrated in the Liṅga Purāṇa: Even the brāhmaṇa who sings continuously in front of Vāsudeva attains the planet of Viṣṇu. This singing is greater than Śiva himself singing.

Purport (Jiva Goswami)

Singing songs is forbidden for the brāhmaṇa, so the sentence means “Even the brāhmaṇa.” This singing before the Lord is greater than Śiva singing.

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

Singing In the Liṅga Purāṇa there is a statement about glorifying and singing about the Lord. It is said there, “A brāhmaṇa who is constantly engaged in singing the glories of the Lord is surely elevated to the same planet as the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
