Verse Text
krīdā-dhyānaṁ, yathā padme—
sarva-mādhurya-sārāṇi sarvādbhuta-mayāni ca |
dhyāyan hareś caritrāṇi lalitāni vimucyate ||181||
Translation
Meditation on the pastimes of the Lord, from the Padma Purāṇa: He who meditates on the sweetest, most astonishing, charming pastimes of the Lord attains liberation.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
In the Padma Purāṇa there is a statement about remembering the activities of the Lord: “A person who is always engaged in meditation on the sweet pastimes and wonderful activities of the Lord surely becomes freed from all material contamination.”
