Translation
The second type of friendship is illustrated in the Agastya-saṁhitā: A person who is dedicated to serving the Lord, and out of friendship sees and treats Him as a human, lies down in the Lord’s temple.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
Sometimes it is found that a pure devotee lies down in the temple of the Lord in order to serve Him as a confidential friend.
