Translation

In the Seventh Canto, Prahlāda speaks: Nothing is unobtainable for devotees who have satisfied the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is the cause of all causes, the original source of everything. The Lord is the reservoir of unlimited spiritual qualities. For devotees, therefore, who are transcendental to the modes of material nature, what is the use of following the principles of religion, economic development, sense gratification and liberation, which are all automatically obtainable under the influence of the modes of nature? We devotees always glorify the lotus feet of the Lord, and therefore we need not ask for anything in terms of dharma, kāma, artha and mokṣa. SB 7.6.25

Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

If the Lord (ādye) is satisfied, what is the use of dharma, artha, and kāma that arise on their own (sva-siddhāḥ) from the agitation of rajo-guṇa (guṇa-vyaitkarāt)? What is the use of liberation (aguṇena) which others desire? What is the use of these things for us, who relish the sweetness of Your feet?

Purport (Jiva Goswami)

Aguṇa means “liberation.” Saram juṣām means “of those persons who relish the sweetness.” What is the need for liberation (kim aguṇena) for us, who glorify You and relish the sweetness of Your two lotus feet?

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

In the Seventh Canto of the Bhāgavatam, Sixth Chapter, verse 25, Mahārāja Prahlāda says, “My dear friends born into atheistic families, if you can please the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, then there is nothing more rare in this world. In other words, if the Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa is pleased with you, then any desire you may have within the core of your heart can be fulfilled without any doubt. As such, what is the use of elevating yourself by the results of fruitive activities, which are automatically achieved in all events by the modes of material nature? And what is the use for you of spiritual emancipation or liberation from material bondage? If you are always engaged in chanting the glories of the Supreme Lord and always relishing the nectar of the lotus feet of the Lord, then there is no necessity for any of these.” By this statement of Prahlāda Mahārāja it is clearly understood that one who takes pleasure in chanting and hearing the transcendental glories of the Lord has already surpassed all kinds of material benedictions, including the results of pious fruitive activities, sacrifices and even liberation from material bondage.
