vyāvahāreṣu sarveṣu yāvad-arthānuvartitā |
hari-vāsara-sammāno dhātry-aśvatthādi-gauravam ||76||
Translation
Accepting only what is necessary in dealing with the body; observing the Ekādaśī vrata; giving respect to the āmalakī, aśvattha and other items.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
(8) accepting only what is necessary, or dealing with the material world only as far as necessary, (9) observing the fasting day on Ekādaśī and (10) worshiping sacred trees like the banyan tree.
