Verse Text
tatra bhāvotthaḥ—
bhāva evāntar-aṅgāṇam aṅgānām anusevayā |
ārūḍhaḥ parama-utkarṣam bhāva-uttaḥ parikīrtitaḥ ||5||
Translation
Prema arising from bhāva is explained: That bhāva which reaches the highest excellence by continual service using all essential aṅgas [Note: The aṅgas were defined in relation to sādhana-bhakti, but the same activities continue in bhāva and prema, though they are called anubhāvas after sādhana is finished.] is called “prema arising from bhāva.”

Ecstatic love of Godhead can be potently invoked simply by following the rules and regulations of devotional service as they are prescribed in scriptures, under the direction of a bona fide spiritual master.
