Verse Text
idaṁ hi dhīrodāttatvaṁ pūrvaiḥ proktaṁ raghūdvahe |
tat-tad-bhaktānusāreṇa tathā kṛṣṇe vilokyate ||229||
Translation
The previous authorities have described dhīrodātta qualities in Rāmacandra. These same qualities are also seen in Kṛṣṇa according to the type of love in His devotees.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
Many learned scholars have agreed to also accept Lord Rāmacandra as dhīrodātta, but all of Lord Rāmacandra’s qualities are also included in the character of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
