mādhuryam –
tan mādhuryaṁ bhaved yatra ceṣṭādeḥ spṛhaṇīyatā ||257||
Translation
Where there is an expression of desire through actions it is called sweetness.

When one’s characteristics are very sweet and desirable, his personality is called pleasing.
