mārkaṇḍeyādayaḥ proktāḥ sādhanaiḥ prāpta-siddhayaḥ ||285||
Translation
It is said that Mārkaṇḍeya and other sages attained perfection by sādhana.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
Learned sages like Mārkaṇḍeya Ṛṣi attained perfection in devotional service simply by executing such regulative principles of service.
