eṣām ālambanatvaṁ ca tathoddīpanatāpi ca ||307||
Translation
His qualities (eṣām) however act as both ālambana and uddīpanas.

Because the qualities serve in special cases as ālambana, the form and to some extent the qualities are said to share the role of ālambana.

In the technical Sanskrit terms, such qualities as Kṛṣṇa’s name and fame are accepted both as reservoirs of and as stimulation for love of Kṛṣṇa.
