Verse Text
tatra ādyam –
varṇasyojjvalatā kāpi netrānte cāruṇa-cchaviḥ |
romāvali-prakaṭatā kaiśore prathame sati ||313||
Translation
At the beginning of the kaiśora age, the complexion becomes indescribably effulgent, the edges of the eyes become reddish and fine hairs appear on the body.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
In the beginning of His kaiśora age—that is, at the beginning of His eleventh year—the luster of His body becomes so bright that it becomes an impetus for ecstatic love. Similarly, there are reddish borders around His eyes, and a growth of soft hairs on His body.
