Verse Text
(10) vāvadūkaḥ –
śruti-preṣṭhoktir akhila-vāg-guṇānvita-vāg api |
iti dvidhā nigadito vāvadūko manīṣibhiḥ ||72||
Translation
The wise say that there are two types of eloquence: speaking which is pleasing to the ear, and speaking with clever meaning.

10. Fluent
A person who can speak meaningful words and with all politeness and good qualities is called vāvadūka, or fluent.
