(12) buddhimān –
medhāvī sūkṣmadhīś ceti procyate buddhimān dvidhā ||79||
Translation
Buddhimān means “the capacity to absorb knowledge” and “possessing fine intelligence (acuity).”

12. Highly Intelligent
A man is called intelligent if he has a sharp memory and fine discretion.
