catvāri kṣmādi-bhūtāni prāṇo jātv avalambate |
kadācit sva-pradhānaḥ san dehe carati sarvataḥ ||17||
Translation
The prāṇa takes shelter of the four elements earth, water, fire and ether, and sometimes takes shelter of itself. The prāṇa then moves throughout the body.
