Verse Text
bhayād, yathā –
viśva-rūpa-dharam adbhutākṛtiṁ
prekṣya tatra puruṣottamaṁ puraḥ |
arjunaḥ sapadi śuṣyad-ānanaḥ
śiśriye vikaṭa-kaṇṭakāṁ tanum ||36||
Translation
From fear: When Arjuna saw before him the Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa as the astonishing universal form, his face dried up, and the hairs of his body suddenly stood on end.

Similarly, when Arjuna saw Kṛṣṇa in His gigantic universal form, there was a standing of the hairs on his body.
