Verse Text
tatra vitrāsena, yathā –
śaṅkha-cūḍam adhirūḍha-vikramaṁ
prekṣya vistṛta-bhujaṁ jighṛkṣayā |
hā vrajendra-tanayeti-vādinī
kampa-sampadam adhatta rādhikā ||44||
Translation
From fear: When Śaṅkhacūḍa, with increasing display of his prowess, stretched out his hand to grab Rādhā, she cried out, “O son of the king of Vraja!” Because of fear, her whole body began to shake.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
When Kṛṣṇa was trying to capture the demon Śaṅkha, Rādhārāṇī began trembling out of fearfulness.
