Verse Text
sattvasya tāratamyāt prāṇa-tanu-kṣobha-tāratamyaṁ syāt |
tata eva tāratamyaṁ sarveṣāṁ sāttvikānāṁ syāt ||62||
Translation
Because of the variations in sattva (disturbance of the mind due to rati), there is variation in the disturbance of the life airs and body. In other words, there are various degrees of all the sāttvika-bhāvas.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
According to the degree of being stunned, the vital force within the body becomes agitated, and due to such a state, the other ecstatic loving symptoms sometimes become altered.
