prāyo dhūmāyitā eva rukṣās tiṣṭhanti sāttvikāḥ |
snigdhās tu prāyaśaḥ sarve caturdhaiva bhavanty amī ||68||
Translation
All the sāttvika-bhāvas in the rukṣa state (in persons without real rati) remain generally at the dhūmāyita level. The sāttvika-bhāvas in the snigdha state appear in all the four levels (dhūmāyita, jvalita, dīpta and uddīpta).

All these symptoms are listed under the dried-up existential condition known as smoky, and they are exhibited in different ways.
