Verse Text
atrāṅgādeḥ parābhyūha-sthānasya parigūhanam |
anyatrekṣā vṛthā-ceṣṭā vāg-bhaṅgīty-ādayaḥ kriyāḥ ||119||
Translation
In this state, hiding one’s limbs so others will think one is something else, glancing elsewhere, useless actions, and clever use of words occur.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
In this state of mind one tries to hide his mind by looking away in different directions, by unnecessarily trying for something which is impossible, or by using words which cover one’s real thoughts.
