atha (28) amarṣaḥ –
adhikṣepāpamānādeḥ syād amarṣo ’sahiṣṇutā ||159||
tatra svedaḥ śiraḥkampo vivarṇatvaṁ vicintanam |
upāyānveṣaṇākrośa-vaimukhyottāḍanādayaḥ ||160||
Translation
Intolerance arising from contempt or insult or other causes is called amarṣa (indignation). In this state perspiration, shaking the head, change of color, pondering, looking for methods, shouting, turning away and beating occur.
