apamānād, yathā padmoktiḥ –
kadamba-vana-taskara drutam apehi kiṁ cāṭubhir
jane bhavati mad-vidhe paribhavo hi nātaḥ paraḥ |
tvayā vraja-mṛgī-dṛśāṁ sadasi hanta candrāvalī
varāpi yad ayogyayā sphuṭam adūṣi tārākhyayā ||162||
Translation
Indignation arising from disrespect, in the words of Padmā: O thief in the kadamba forest! Quickly come here and do not use clever words. There is no greater disrespect for a person like me than directly to spoil excellent Candrāvalī in the assembly of gopīs by uttering the unsuitable name of Rādhā.

Similarly, some of the gopīs once began to address Kṛṣṇa with these dishonorable words: “My dear Kṛṣṇa, You are a first-class thief. So please leave this place immediately. We know You love Candrāvalī more than us, but there is no use in praising her in our presence! Kindly do not contaminate the name of Rādhārāṇī in this place!” This is another instance of dishonorable words cast upon Kṛṣṇa in ecstatic love.
