Verse Text

nidrā-pūrtyā, yathā – dūtī cāgāt tad-āgāraṁ jajāgāra ca rādhikā | tūrṇaṁ puṇyavatīnāṁ hi tanoti phalam udyamaḥ ||189||

Translation

Bodha arising from breaking sleep due to sufficient sleep: Just when the messenger arrived at her house, Rādhā woke up. It is seen that the attempts of those with pious credits quickly bear fruit.

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

There is another instance of this. A messenger from Kṛṣṇa came to Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī while She was sleeping, and Rādhārāṇī immediately awakened. Similarly, when Kṛṣṇa began to blow on His flute in the night, all of the gopīs, the beautiful daughters of the cowherd men, immediately got up from their sleep.
