ābhāsaḥ punar eteṣām asthāne vṛttito bhavet |
prātikūlyam anaucityam asthānatvaṁ dvidhoditam ||224||
Translation
When these vyabhicāri-bhāvas manifest inappropriately in unqualified persons, they are actually semblances or ābhāsas of vyabhicāri-bhāvas. There are two types of inappropriateness: appearing in persons hostile to Kṛṣṇa and being improperly credited.

In order to show two types of ābhāsa of the vyabhicāri bhāvas, two types of inappropriateness are shown in the second half of the verse.
