Verse Text

atha (5) śramaḥ – adhva-nṛtya-ratādy-utthaḥ khedaḥ śrama itīryate | nidrā-svedāṅga-saṁmarda-jṛmbhāśvāsādi-bhāg asau ||31||

Translation

Fatigue arising from losing the way, dancing or amorous activities is called śrama. In this state, sleep, perspiration, rubbing the body, yawning and heavy breathing appear.

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

Fatigue One feels fatigue after walking a long distance, after dancing and after sexual activity. In this kind of fatigue there is dizziness, perspiration, inactivity of the limbs, yawning and very heavy breathing.
