mado ’pi tri-vidhaḥ proktas taruṇādi-prabhedataḥ |
atra nātyupayogitvād vistārya na hi varṇitaḥ ||39||
Translation
There are three types of intoxication according to the stage of intoxication. However, in this work these will not be discussed as they are not very useful to the topic.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
Such intoxication is manifested according to different ages and mentalities. Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī does not describe further in this direction because there is no necessity for such a discussion.
