Verse Text

atra solluṇṭha-vacanaṁ līlānuttara-dāyitā | svāṅgekṣā nihnuvo ’nyasya vacanāśravaṇādayaḥ ||42||

Translation

In this state there are joking words, not giving answers by one’s own choice, showing off one’s body, concealing one’s intentions and not hearing others’ words.

Nihnuvaḥ means concealing one’s intentions.

Pride Expressions of ecstatic love in pride may be the result of excessive wealth, exquisite beauty, a first-class residence or the attainment of one’s ideal goal. One is also considered proud when he does not care about the neglect of others.
