pūrvam uktād dvidhā bhedān mukhya-gauṇatayā rateḥ | bhaved bhakti-raso ’py eṣa mukhya-gauṇatayā dvidhā ||113||

Translation

It has previously been stated that rati has two types: primary and secondary. Therefore, rasa also has primary and secondary types.

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

Direct and Indirect Attraction for Kṛṣṇa Transcendental pleasure derived from devotional service can be divided into two groups: direct devotional service and indirect devotional service.
