ity ato mati-garvādi-bhāvānāṁ ghaṭate na hi |
sthāyitā kaiścid iṣṭāpi pramāṇaṁ tatra tad-vidaḥ ||49||
Translation
Though some persons would like to consider mati, garva and other vyabhicāri-bhāvas to be sthāyi-bhāvas, they are not classed as such. Bharata Muni and others are the authority for this statement.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
The first statement is contrary to the author’s views. Thus the authority is then given. Tad-vidaḥ means persons such as Bharata Muni.
