Translation
Sāndra-śānta-rati: In nirvikalpa-samādhi, after destroying all ignorance, I experienced complete bliss. But when I saw Kṛṣṇa directly, the bliss became thousands of times more concentrated.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
The superiority of the deep bliss in realizing the Lord over the previous realization as a jṣānī which was temporary is made clear with a personal statement. When Kṛṣṇa Himself directly appeared (yādavendre sākśād jāte) the bliss (sa ānandaḥ) multiplied in intensity by millions of times--because of realizing His form, qualities and pastimes.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
When a Brahman-realized devotee who has come to the stage of steady trance comes into contact with the eternal form of Kṛṣṇa, his transcendental pleasure increases millions of times.
