Verse Text

ātmocitair vibhāvādyaiḥ prītir āsvādanīyatām | nītā cetasi bhaktānāṁ prīti-bhakti-raso mataḥ ||3||

Translation

When prīti or adoration achieves a pleasurable nature by vibhāvas, anubhāvas, sāttvika-bhāvas and vyabhicāri-bhāvas in the hearts of the devotees, it is called prīti-bhakti-rasa. [Note: This is also called prīti-bhakti-rasa or dāsya-bhakti-rasa.]

… and therefore the general name for this state is affection, or pure affection for Kṛṣṇa.
