atha sāttvikāḥ – stambhādyāḥ sāttvikāḥ sarve prītādi-tritaye matāḥ ||66||

Translation

Sāttvika-bhāvas: It is said that all the sāttvika-bhāvas starting with stambha (paralysis) appear in prīti (dāsya), preyo (sakhya) and madhura-rasas. [Note: In vatsala-rasa, as well as the eight sāttvika-bhāvas, the sāttvika-bhāva of milking flowing from the breasts also occurs. (BRS 3.4.45)]

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

When a devotee dances in ecstatic love, there are manifestations of symptoms which are called sāttvika. Sāttvika means that they are from the transcendental platform. They are not symptoms of material emotion; they come from the soul proper.
