atha snehaḥ – sāndraś citta-dravaṁ kurvan premā 'sneha' itīryate | kṣaṇikasyāpi neha syād visleṣasya sahiṣṇutā ||84||

Translation

Sneha: When prema becomes extremely thick and the heart melts, it is called sneha. In this state, one cannot tolerate even a moment’s separation from the Lord.

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

When such a feeling of love becomes intensified, it is called affection. In that affectional stage, one cannot bear separation from Kṛṣṇa even for a moment.
