tatra kaumāram –
ādyaṁ madhyaṁ tathā śeṣaṁ kaumāraṁ tri-vidhaṁ matam ||18||
Translation
The kaumāra age has three stages: beginning, middle and end.

The childhood ages of Kṛṣṇa are divided into three periods: the beginning of the kaumāra age, the middle of the kaumāra age and the end of the kaumāra age.
