Verse Text
tatra kṛṣṇo, yathā –
nava-kuvalaya-dāma-śyāmalaṁ komalāṅgaṁ
vicalad-alaka-bhṛṅga-krānta-netrāmbujāntam |
vraja-bhuvi viharantaṁ putram ālokayantī
vraja-pati-dayitāsīt prasnavotpīḍa-digdhā ||3||
Translation
Kṛṣṇa as the viṣaya of vātsalya-rasa: On seeing her son, who had the complexion of a fresh, blue lotus, who had a soft body, with lotus eyes touched by bee-like locks of hair, Yaśodā became wet with milk flowing forcefully from her breast.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
Utpīḍa means the milk forcibly came out on its own. Digdhā (anointed) means liptā, “she became wet,” according to the Saṅkīrṇa-varga of the Amara-kośa.

“The Supreme Personality of Godhead, whose bodily complexion is just like a bluish, new-grown lotus flower, whose body is very delicate and whose lotus eyes are surrounded by scattered hair as black as bees, was walking on the streets of Vṛndāvana when Mother Yaśodā, the beloved wife of Nanda Mahārāja, saw Him. Immediately the milk began to flow from her breasts, soaking her body.”
