kiṁ ca –
apratītau hari-rateḥ prītasya syād apuṣṭatā |
preyasas tu tirobhāvo vatsalaysāsya na kṣatiḥ ||79||
Translation
Moreover: When a dāsya or sakhya-bhakta cannot discern if the Lord has rati for himself, his prīti-rasa weakens, and preyo-rasa disappears, but even if the vatsala-bhakta cannot discern the Lord’s rati, vatsala-rasa is not affected at all.

Apratītau hari-rateḥ means “when a devotee cannot discern whether the Lord has attraction for that devotee or not.”
