Verse Text

eṣa hāsya-rasas tatra kaiśikī-vṛtti-vistṛtau | śṛṅgārādi-rasodbhedo bahudhaiva prapaṣcitaḥ ||30||

Translation

This hāsya-rasa, which manifests in madhura and other rasas, has been described in detail with many forms in the works of Bharata Muni and the work Nātāka-candrikā, [Note: This is Rūpa Govāmī’s work.] in the section dealing with kaiśikī vṛtti (dramatic form suitable for love).

Purport (Jiva Goswami)

The word tatra (there) in the verse indicates in the works of Bharata Muni and others, and Rūpa Gosvāmī’s work Nāṭaka-candrikā.
