tatra dṛṣṭaṁ, yathā –
ekam eva vividhodyama-bhājaṁ
mandireṣu yugapan nikhileṣu |
dvārakām abhi samīksya mukundaṁ
spandanojjhita-tanur munir āsīt ||6||
Translation
An example of direct perception of wonder by seeing: When Nārada saw Kṛṣṇa simultaneously performing various actions with one body in each of the queens’ palaces in Dvārakā, his body began to quiver.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
Ekam here means “being in one body.” This is described in the Bhāgavatam, which is quoted in the next verse. Therefore, the word muniḥ means Nārada. He became astonished by Kṛṣṇa’s production of many expanded forms.
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
When Nārada came to see the activities of the Lord at Dvārakā and he saw that Kṛṣṇa was present within every palace in the same body and was engaged in different activities, he was struck with wonder. This is one of the examples of astonishment in devotional service by direct perception.
