atha dānavīraḥ – dvi-vidho dāna-vīraḥ syād ekas tatra bahu-pradaḥ | upasthita-durāpārtha-tyāgī cāpara ucyate ||25||

Translation

There are two types of dāna-vīras: the person who gives in plenty (bahu-prada) and the renounced person who does not want to accept what is offered by the Lord.

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

Dāna-vīra, or chivalry in giving charity, may be divided into two parts: munificence and renunciation.
