asmin na tādṛśo manyau vartate raty-anugrahaḥ |
udāharaṇa-mātrāya tathāpy eṣa nidarśitaḥ ||32||
Translation
Rati (love for Kṛṣṇa) does not clearly manifest in this manyu (anger against friends). Thus, manyu is discussed here just to give examples.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
Na tādśrsaḥ means “not clear.” Since it was explained in verse 7 that all inhabitants of Vraja are filled with rati for Kṛṣṇa, with the exception of Govardhana, husband of Candrāvalī, the appearance of manyu among the inhabitants of Vraja along with the disappearance of rati is not factual.
