Verse Text
anurakta-dhiyo bhaktāḥ kecana jṣāna-vartmani |
śāntasyāśraya-bhinnatve vairasyaṁ nānumanvate ||77||
Translation
Some devotees whose hearts are attached to the path of jṣāna do not consider it distasteful when the āśraya of śānta-rasa is different from the āśraya of the conflicting rasa (as in the previous example).
Purport (Nectar of Devotion)
Although this is a contradiction of mellows, there is no incompatibility, because even a brahmānandī will become attracted to Kṛṣṇa.
