Verse Text

kiṁ ca – bhṛtyayor nāyakasyeva nisarga-dveṣiṇor api | aṅgayor aṅginaḥ puṣṭyai bhaved ekatra saṅgatiḥ ||78||

Translation

However, just as there is a conjoining of two natural enemies for service to a common master, their king, there is no fault in the mixing of two conflicting aṅga-rasas for nourishing the aṅgī-rasa.

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

Although this is a contradiction of mellows, there is no incompatibility, because even a brahmānandī will become attracted to Kṛṣṇa.
