tatra ādyaṁ, yathā –
prathayan vapor vivaśatāṁ satāṁ kulair
avadhīryamāṇa-naṭano ’py anargalaḥ |
vikira prabho dṛśam ihety akuṇṭha-vāk
caṭulo baṭur vyavṛṇutātmano ratim ||8||
Translation
Showing audacity: After showing off his lack of bodily control and being ignored by the devotees when he danced, a fickle brāhmaṇa boy without shame addressed the deity of Kṛṣṇa in a bold voice. “O Lord! Look at me!” In this way, he showed his love for the Lord.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
This person exaggerated his symptoms of lack of bodily control (vivaśatām prathayan), which were actually quite insignificant. Prabho (O lord) is an address to the deity form of the Lord.

When Madhumaṅgala, an intimate friend of Kṛṣṇa, was dancing before Kṛṣṇa in a joking manner, no one was paying attention to him, and he jokingly said, “My dear Lord, please be merciful upon me. I am praying for Your mercy.” This is an example of uparasa in fraternal affection and neutrality.
