iti śrīmahābhārate khileṣu harivaṁśe bhaviṣyaparvaṇi ṭīkāyāṁ navatitamo'dhyāyaḥ || 90 ||
bāṇayuddhe yaduktaṁ hariharādvaitaṁ tadeva kailāsayātrāyāṁ hareḥ śivārādhakatvena shivasya viṣṇustāvakatvena ca dṛḍhīkṛtam | tena śāstṛśāsyayorjīveśayoravikṛtabrahmabhāvaḥ | kṛtsnasya śāstrasyārtha uktaḥ |
In the battle with bāṇa, it was stated that hari (viṣṇu) and shiva are not two (they are same). In kailāsayatra, this concept is firmed up by the worship of shiva by hari (viṣṇu) and the praise of viṣṇu by shiva. The brahma nature of the lords of life as ordained by śāstra-s is established here.
