Translation
The desire of those who fix their minds on Me does not lead to material desire for sense gratification, just as barleycorns burned by the sun and then cooked can no longer grow into new sprouts.

“Anyone whose full consciousness is always absorbed in Me, even if in lust, is elevated. As a fried seed cannot fructify, so any desire in connection with My loving service cannot produce any fruitive result, as in ordinary karma.”
There is a statement in the Brahma-saṁhitā: karmāṇi nirdahati kintu ca bhakti-bhājām [Bs. 5.54]. Everyone is bound by his fruitive activities, but the devotees, because they work completely for the satisfaction of the Lord, suffer no reactions. Similarly, the gopīs’ attitude toward Kṛṣṇa, although seemingly lusty, should not be considered to be like the lusty desires of ordinary women. The reason is explained by Kṛṣṇa Himself. Activities in devotional service to Kṛṣṇa are transcendental to any fruitive result.

The words
mayy āveśita-dhiyām
are very significant here. Unless one has achieved an advanced degree of devotion, one cannot fix the mind and intelligence on Kṛṣṇa, since Kṛṣṇa is pure spiritual existence. Self-realization is a state not of desirelessness but rather of purified desire, wherein one desires only the pleasure of Lord Kṛṣṇa. The
gopīs
were certainly attracted to Kṛṣṇa in a mood of conjugal love, and yet, having fixed their minds and indeed their entire existence completely on Kṛṣṇa, their conjugal desire could never manifest as material lust; rather, it became the most exalted form of love of Godhead ever seen within the universe.

If someone worships me impurely or improperly, because I am full of good qualities I can make that offering pure. What then to say of your absolutely pure desire and pure love? For those who are absorbed in me, their material desires do not result in sense enjoyment. Because of the greatness of the object of love, it results in the disappearance of material desire. Just as barley corns if roasted in the hot sun are sown, and moistened by water, it is impossible (na isate) for them to sprout (bijaya). Praya here means "just as." Another reading of nesate is nesyate. According to Citsukha this is a traditional usage.

Desires of those who are absorbed in me, of those serve me with only the desire for me, even just using their minds, does not result in material desire such as desire for a kingdom, but rather in niṣkāma-bhakti for me.
satyaṁ diśaty arthitam arthito nṛṇāṁ
naivārthado yat punar arthitā yataḥ
svayaṁ vidhatte bhajatām anicchatām
icchāpidhānaṁ nija-pāda-pallavam
The Lord certainly gives desired objects to devotees who request them, but he does not give those objects in such a way that the devotee will ask again after finishing his enjoyment. In other words, he gives his lotus feet, which include all desirables, to those worshippers who do not even desire them. SB 5.19.27
An example is Kardama’s worship of Viṣṇu. If that is so, what can be said of you whose goal in worship only prema for me. An example is given to show that desires in relation to the Lord do not result in material desires. Prāyaḥ suggests conjecture. Can fried seeds produce sprouts at all? Dhānāḥ means roasted barley corns, causing good fortune or new sprouts according to Viśva. They are roasted already by definition. Then they are cooked. In that extreme state, how could they sprout? It is not possible.
Or, prema with me as the object (kāmaḥ) of those whose only goal is me does not produce any other desire but rather becomes spontaneously full of taste. What then to speak of person like you. A suitable example is given. Roasted barely corns which are fried in ghee for taste and then boiled in sugar water cannot sprout. They cannot be used for any other purpose except being tasted. You have desire to serve me in prema, purified by intense love, without any other desire. Such is my indescribable sweetness. They will later say:
surata-vardhanaṁ śoka-nāśanaṁ
svarita-veṇunā suṣṭhu cumbitam
itara-rāga-vismāraṇaṁ nṛṇāṁ
vitara vīra nas te ‘dharāmṛtam
O hero, kindly distribute to us the nectar of your lips, which enhances conjugal pleasure and vanquishes grief. That nectar is thoroughly relished by your vibrating flute and makes people forget any other attachment. SB 10.31.14
Laghu-bhagavatāmṛta and Bhāgavat-sandarbha also describe the topmost position given to these gopīs’ prema. It is also said:
etāḥ paraṁ tanu-bhṛto bhuvi gopa-vadhvo
govinda eva nikhilātmani rūḍha-bhāvāḥ
vāñchanti yad bhava-bhiyo munayo vayaṁ ca
kiṁ brahma-janmabhir ananta-kathā-rasasya
Among all persons on earth, these cowherd women alone have actually perfected their embodied lives, for they have achieved the perfection of unalloyed love for Govinda. Their pure love is desired by those who fear material existence, by great sages, and by ourselves as well. For one who has tasted the narrations of the infinite Lord, what is the use of taking birth as a high-class brāhman?a, or even as Brahmā himself? SB 10.47.58
Those who are most peaceful desire the gopīs’ love. Thus what higher peace is possible than desire for Kṛṣṇa? Therefore that desire must be the highest truth (satyaḥ). Their desires, revealing their own qualities, enchanting and filled with cleverness, should be understood to be the highest level of spirituality in relation to the Lord Never would they produce material inclinations. Citsukha accepts the version neṣyate in the singular, with a clear meaning.

According to what will be explained, this is the final part of the statement in the previous verse. Even though what you desire will come true, there will be a greater result, because of the excellence of your vow.
