श्रियं यशो महत्वं च लप्स्यते परिरक्षित: ॥ २९ ॥

vadanty anena vaṁśo ’yaṁ
yadoḥ su-bahu-viśrutaḥ
śriyaṁ yaśo mahatvaṁ ca
lapsyate parirakṣitaḥ

The Mathurā citizens discussed the dynasty of Yadu, saying that because of Kṛṣṇa’s appearance in this dynasty the Yadus would remain the most celebrated family in the whole universe.
