nityam udvigna-cetasoḥ
mogham ete vyatikrāntā
divasā vām anarcatoḥ

Translation
Thus We have wasted all these days, unable as We were to properly honor you because Our minds were always disturbed by fear of Kaṁsa.

Purport
Lord Kṛṣṇa continues to bring Vasudeva and Devakī back to their normal parental feelings toward Him and Balarāma. An ordinary child would be afraid of a cruel, tyrannical king like Kaṁsa, and Lord Kṛṣṇa here plays the part of such a child, thus evoking the parental sympathy of Vasudeva and Devakī.
Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
"Therefore because we were unable to serve you for fear of Kamsa (kamsat udvigna cetasoh) , our days have passed uselessly. We are at fault."
But the real meaning is, "We spent all these days uselessly, our minds wanting go to Mathura, because we heard about Kamsa and wanted to fight him (udvigna cetasoh), but were unable to go." In this case udvigna means moving or going (vij). When Krsna says he spend his days uselessly it is an expression of regret.

In this verse they speak of their own condition. They were incapable of providing support because of Kaṁsa. We wasted our days since we did not worship you (vām).

We could not honor you because of fear of Kaṁsa. Thus our kaiśora days have been spent uselessly.
