“We constantly remember various attractive features of beautiful Kṛṣṇa—His walking, His smiling, His joking words. We have all become lost by the dealings of Kṛṣṇa, and it is impossible for us to forget Him.

“Covering your eyes with a cloth, controlling the mind by the intelligence, forgetting everything, you can then forget him.” Our hearts have been stolen by the charming movements of his limbs (gatyā), by his excellent smile and playful glances. These items indicate his special love for us. The plural is used to indicate that he smiled and glanced at each of the gopīs individually. His words were sweet by sound and by meaning. By these three means (movement, love and words) our intelligence has been stolen. By what means can we forget his friendship or his movements, love and words? There is no way. Or, please teach us some other way.
