Trivakrā’s home was opulently appointed with expensive furnishings and replete with sensual accoutrements meant to inspire sexual desire. There were banners, rows of strung pearls, canopies, fine beds and sitting places, and also fragrant incense, oil lamps, flower garlands and aromatic sandalwood paste.

When Kṛṣṇa reached her house, He saw that it was completely decorated in a way to excite the lusty desires of a man. This suggests that there were many nude pictures, on top of which were canopies and flags embroidered with pearl necklaces, along with comfortable beds and cushioned chairs. The rooms were provided with flower garlands and were nicely scented with incense and sprinkled with scented water. And the rooms were illuminated by nice lamps.

According to Śrīdhara Svāmī, the sensual accoutrements in Trivakrā’s house included explicit sexual pictures. Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī adds that her paraphernalia included herbal aphrodisiacs. It is not hard to guess Trivakrā’s intention, yet Lord Kṛṣṇa went there to save her from material existence.

The house was filled with articles to excite desire, such as honey and betel nut. The decorations are described. The strings pearls were inside the house and the flags were on top of the house. The canopies, beds and seats were fragrant with incense.

The furnishings (upaskara) were clothes and crystal, or the furnishings are described with mention of pearls etc. These items were within the house and flags (patāka) were on top of the house. Fragrance (surabhibhih) can be applied to all the suitable items (fragrant incense, fragrant garlands etc.)
