“My dear Lord, I must admit that due to Your bodily effulgence, unbearable to my eyes, I cannot see You properly. I can fully realize that the influence of Your effulgence has diminished my power. I can understand that You are quite fit for being worshiped by all living entities.”
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
Since our strength is defeated by your power, we cannot ask many questions (praṣṭum) such as “Why have you come here? Where will you go? What are you doing at this moment?” Another version has draṣṭum. Since we cannot even see you, what is the question of speaking and asking questions? Therefore brāhmaṇas and others respect you. That is befitting. O person with greatness more than all other great persons (mahā-bhāga)! The form bhāga from bhaga here indicates “one who personifies all good qualities.”
